A portrait-led photography project created for Mount Maunganui musician Matty Buxton, designed to support his electronic press kit, festival submissions, and upcoming release promotion.
The imagery combined clean press portraits with more expressive environmental and conceptual scenes influenced by surf culture, funk and soul aesthetics, and playful hip hop-era visual references. The goal was to create a flexible set of photographs that could support press features, live show promotion, and artist storytelling across the next phase of his music releases.
